Ingredients

  • 8 ounces dairy-free cream cheese I use Kite Hill or Trader Joe’s
  • ½ cup mayonnaise I use Hellmann’s or Duke’s
  • ½ cup dairy-free ranch dressing I use Hidden Valley Plant-Based Ranch
  • ¾ cup hot sauce I use Frank’s Original RedHot
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken, I use rotisserie chicken
  • cup green onion thinly sliced
  • 4 oz dairy-free cheddar cheese I use Violife Cheddar Shreds

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a small baking dish or pie plate.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the dairy-free cream cheese, mayonnaise, dairy-free ranch dressing, hot sauce, garlic powder and black pepper.
  • Mix together until smooth and well combined.
  • Stir in the chicken, green onions and half of the dairy-free cheese. Smooth into the prepared baking dish.
  • Top with remaining dairy-free cheese and bake for 20-30 minutes or until bubbly. Broil for 2-3 minutes more until the top is starting to turn golden brown.
  • Serve with tortilla chips, vegetable slices or crackers. Enjoy!

Notes

INGREDIENT NOTES
  • Chicken: You can use cooked chicken breasts or rotisserie chicken in this recipe. I love the texture and flavor of rotisserie chicken. Plus, it helps save time!
  • Dairy-free ranch: There are a few different dairy-free ranch dressing options out there, but I prefer Hidden Valley plant-based ranch.
  • Dairy-free cream cheese: I always turn to Kite Hill cream cheese when I want a delicious, dairy-free or vegan cream cheese option.
  • Frank’s hot sauce: While you could use another hot sauce in this recipe, it won’t have quite the same flavor. Frank’s red hot sauce is a must for that classic tangy buffalo sauce heat!
  • Mayonnaise: Hellman’s or Duke’s makes the best dairy-free mayo, in my opinion!
  • Dairy-free cheese: I like to use Violife Cheddar Shreds for this recipe.
MAKE-AHEAD: This is a great make-ahead appetizer. Just follow all of the steps up to the point of baking, then store in the fridge unto you’re ready to bake.
