Sweet and salty Oreo popcorn! Filled with Oreo chunks, crumbs, and white chocolate drizzle, this easy dessert is perfect for game night, movie night, and parties!
If you have an air popper, add the kernels to the machine and pop according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
If you don’t have an air popper, heat a large nonstick pot over medium heat until warm. Add the kernels and immediately cover the pot with a tight fitting lid. Gently shake the pot every 5 seconds until the first kernels begin to pop. Then continue shaking the pot until popping is 5 seconds apart.
Immediately remove the popcorn from the heat and pour it onto a rimmed baking sheet.
Place 1 ½ cups of white chocolate chips into a microwave safe bowl and heat for 30 second intervals, stirring between each one, until the chocolate is melted and smooth.
Drizzle the white chocolate evenly over the popcorn and then sprinkle over the remaining white chocolate chips, chopped oreos, and salt.
Allow the popcorn to sit at room temperature until the white chocolate is set– about 30 minutes. Then break the popcorn into clusters and store in an airtight container until ready to enjoy. The popcorn will keep for up to 5 days.

RECIPE NOTES
I like to chop the Oreos to get a mix of crumbs and chunks. The crumbs will stick to the popcorn, while the chunks will give a delicious crunch. Be sure to use gluten-free Oreos if you want this recipe to be gluten-free.
I usually chop the Oreos with a large knife, but you could also use a food processor (just be sure to pulse a couple times, and stop before it turns into crumbs!) or a rolling pin to crush the cookies.
Feel free to add a semi-sweet chocolate drizzle or mini chocolate chips to this Oreo popcorn, if you'd like! There are lots of ways to get creative with this recipe!
I like to use white corn kernels for this Oreo popcorn, but feel free to use any kind of dried popcorn that you like. White corn just makes for brighter white popcorn!
It's normal to have some un-popped kernels in your batch of Oreo popcorn. You can remove them before drizzling the white chocolate, if you'd like. Or just eat around the kernels!
