Storage Instructions
Once baked, these cookies can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
Make-Ahead/Freezer Instructions
As with many other cookie recipes, I usually make a batch of dough, then bake half and freeze the other half.
When you want a cookie, just bake the frozen dough by adding 2-4 minutes onto the cook time. These are perfect to have on hand for those nights when you just need a little something sweet!

I just made these and was so pleasantly surprised! I didn’t have coconut oil so I used canola and I make half a batch so I cut everything in half. It tasted almost like coconut cookies but I didn’t use any.
The best tasting Keto cookie recipe I have made so far. Thank you so much for sharing! I made the following changes to your recipe- I swapped butter for the coconut oil and brown sugar Splenda and coconut sugar for the sugar asked for in the recipe.
ive made these cookies twice and while they taste delicious, mine puff up and didn’t spread or flatten like your photos. Perhaps I should use more coconut oil next time and less butter?
Mine didn’t spread out at all either. turned out as cookie dough balls :/
I did substitute the almond flour for all purpose gluten free flour so I was assuming that was why but after reading several others having the same issue I am nervous to try again with almond flour. My husband is allergic so that’s why I was trying a different flour.
What is the carb and protein value in one cookie? Thank you
Can you use stevia ? I can’t do any kind of sugar except stevia in the raw. Thanks !
Your almond flour chocolate chip cookies are the best!!!!!!! When I doubled the batch, I used 1/2 almond flour and oatmeal, and unsweetened applesauce for 1/2 of the coconut sugar, Toll House, eat your heart out!!!!! Thanks again. I can’t wait to try your flour blend for you pizza crust dough recipe.
Love your web sight, please keep adding receipes.
I’m so glad you like the recipes! Thanks for the comment! 🙂
Is the brown sugar sugar in the raw? Or regular brown sugar?
This recipe is the bomb!! I swapped the brown sugar for the Splenda brown sugar equivalent and used organic chocolate chips from Hy-Vee 🙂
Is there something we can substitute for the coconut oil, because I can’t eat coconuts? Can you use regular canola oil in the place of it? These cookies look great, can’t wait to make these. Thanks for sharing
These are incredible!
What about using liquid stevia drops in place of the sugar? Is there anything that can replace the coconut oil?
is there a carb count?
Ok so I just made these for the 3rd time! I love them. This time though I completely forgot to put any sugar in them. Great news is they still cooked just fine, and well they are not real sweet but honestly I think I like them better this way!
How many carbs are in these is I use a sugar substitute?
Love these! They turned out amazing can’t stop eating them.
However, we’re on keto diet right now do you know the estimated carb count?
