Stir-fry sauce has simple pantry staples that come together for the most amazing sauce. I love that stir-fries are healthy and versatile. Served with a side of hot cooked rice, my family always eats them up!

This gluten-free stir-fry sauce is delicious with all kinds of vegetable/meat combinations. I like using it to eat up leftovers from the fridge.

Ingredients you’ll need

overhead shot of ingredients to make stir fry
  • Chicken stock: Most brands are gluten-free, but be sure to check the label.
  • Tamari: Tamari is gluten-free soy sauce. Many soy sauces are made with a soybean/wheat blend, but tamari is made of 100% soybeans.
  • Brown sugar: For a little sweetness!
  • Sesame oil: Adds a delicious flavor. A little goes a long way so you just need a teaspoon.
  • Cornstarch: A naturally gluten-free ingredient that thickens the sauce.
  • Red pepper flakes: I only add 1/4 for a little flavor. It doesn’t make the sauce spicy – just more flavorful. Add more red pepper flakes if you want a spicier sauce.

This sauce is so good and so so easy! I love that it is also great on just rice as a bump up from plain soy sauce. We made it into stir fry with steak and loved it, thanks!
